In terms of your things, what does your space (studio/office/or living area) look like?
My space has bit of this and that contained in old cigar boxes, vintage suitcases and mismatched teacups. I collect many things that are worn or chipped and usually red, things that tell a story… I am obsessed with fixtures and containers and am not sorry to say I have a box or two full of boxes. I love bits of brightly colored ribbon, tattered hand stitched quilts, and anything miniature. I have a beautiful old thread cabinet that when opened, reveals drawers of buttons and tiny ephemera all arranged in rainbow order. My space is a visual feast of colors and textures and it is what inspires me!

Where do you normally get your things?
There isn’t a day where I don’t pick up something… sometimes I find things on the street, gather twigs or seeds while on a walk, search out a particular item at a flea market or browse through the flotsam and jetsam of someone’s life at a garage sale. I love thrift stores, church sales, artist resource centers and especially nature, where inspiration is free! On the very rare occasion where I don’t find a treasure, I am constantly taking pictures and always have a few at the end of every day.

What is your prize possession/”thing”/collectible/tool?
Fav possession is my antique thread cabinet filled with little treasures (did I mention they are all arranged by color) !!!!
