In terms of your things, what does your space (studio/office/living area) look like?
I share a workspace with my love. I try to clean and organize once a week. I’m slowly adopting zen practices and clearing away unnecessary clutter weekly. It is difficult and humbling! I am such a pack rat. I used to save every little string and thread I found, convincing myself it will come in handy for a future stop motion project. I have one desk for my computer and one desk for crafts. I have one bookcase to keep my supplies readily available. It is somewhat organized and minimal. The closet is another story. I keep boxes and random things in there. One day I will venture and organize that craziness. On the other side of the room is my love’s computer and music space. I really enjoy working next to my best friend.

Where do you normally get your things?
Friends, family, vintage stores, goodwill, savers, the internet, magical worm holes..?

What is your prize possession/”thing”/collectible/tool?
My sketchbook collection – I have 7 books of secrets, impossible ideas, strange creatures, weird words, odd faces. My sketchbooks are proof they originated from my brain.A small square music box of a dancing rabbit – My mother bought it for me when she went away to Dallas for a business trip. It was the first time my mother was away from my for a long period of time. She’s very thrifty and rarely spends money on “frivilous” things. It meant a lot to me when she brought it home to me. I loved winding it up and watching the rabbit move its limbs.
