day 72 – four antique toothpaste containers

My boyfriend’s dad is an oral surgeon and has the funniest collection of antique toothpaste containers. I say funny because it is something I would never think of collecting but I guess other people might think it funny if I collected paintbrushes.
Top left – Saponaceous Tooth Powder prepared from pure white soap as recommended by Dr. Bowditch
Top right – White Rose Paste an elegant preperation for preserving & whitening the teeth purifying and perfuming the breath prepared by S. Maw Son & Thompson
Bottom left – Rose Paste for preserving the teeth and gums and perfuming the breath
Bottom right – Cheery Toothpaste Patronized By The Queen for beutifying and preserving the teeth & gums prepared by John Cosnell & Co.
