They produced drawings, handmade instruments, music tapes, dolls and performed as a ‘lo-fi band’, wearing masks to cover their identities. Each doll had a name and a little ‘saying’ tagged to them.
Michael and Drue were also members of the Royal Art Lodge (with Marcel Dzama and Neil Farber).
The Dolls (left to right)
Stillman; “I meant to do my work today- But a brown bird came to visit me”
Sardonic; “Why would I want to go to the park? A dog bit me there and I caught a cold there once”
Ogston-Ray; “Build it up to knock it down!”
Unknown; tag lost
